ICC YAF: Effectiveness of ADR tools in MENA – is it worth the time and cost?

As part of the Dubai Arbitration Week, ICC YAF is organizing a conference on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and the effectiveness of ADR tools.


The ICC YAF conference will focus on the effective use of mediation and expert determinations in the MENA region. Taking the form of panel discussions, the speakers will look at whether mediation is being effectively used in the region and will consider whether mediation is most efficiently used before or during arbitral proceedings.

A second panel will address the topic of enforceability of expert determinations in MENA region.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
