ICC YAF: Do We Need New Voices? The Role of Young Lawyers in a Changing Landscape

ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) will be holding a breakfast event in conjunction with the 3rd Annual Harvard International Arbitration Conference (HIAC) on 30 March 2017. The event will be kindly hosted by Harvard Law School and sponsored by Hogan Lovells.

Description

Recent events have shown that the structure and basis of the Investor-State Dispute Settlement system are being questioned and could be subject to several changes in the near future.  Commercial arbitration has undergone changes to its rules and practices as well.  The panellists will discuss the role of young lawyers in this evolution process, and the need to give voice to those who will be practicing under this new set of rules.
