ICC YAF Debate: Arbitral battle

Bogotá, Colombia, • Spanish

ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organizing a conference at the occasion of “II Jornadas de Arbitraje Internacional de la Universidad Externado de Colombia”.

This ICC YAF Conference will address key topics in international arbitration, such as  ICC Expedited Procedure, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards in the seat of arbitration and disclosure obligations, in a non-traditional way: an arbitral battle! The interaction will take form of a debate or an arbitral battle between two teams, each defending the opposite point of view concerning the same issue. At the end of the discussions, the arbitral tribunal along with the public will choose the winning team.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
