ICC YAF, CEA-40, Arbit event

Naples, Italy, • English

Joining forces for this event in the beautiful city of Naples, the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF), CEA-40 and ARBIT are bringing together young arbitration professionals from all across Europe and a very special guest, Bernardo M. Cremades, to debate on three topics that touch the very foundation of arbitral proceedings.

Description

The debate will focus on the following three topics:

(1) Unlawfully Obtained Evidence: Search for the Truth vs. Procedural Abuse;

(2) Suspicion of Corruption in International Arbitration: Eyes Shut Approach vs. Zero Tolerance, and

(3) Recent Trends on Challenges to Arbitrators: Guerrilla Tactics vs. Safeguard of Impartiality.

The Asociacion Europea De Arbitraje is generously sponsoring this conference.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years and under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference will be an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration, and to enrich their network in the region.

The conference will be followed by another free of charge event about the arbitration decision making process.
