ICC YAF: Case Management Conference and Procedural Order N°1

Zagreb, Croatia, • English

ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organizing a conference dedicated to challenges and trends of arbitration in Europe: a great opportunity for arbitration practitioners in the area to share their experience and exchange views on the latest developments.

Over the past two decades, arbitration in Europe has known a significant development. Important economical transformations in the region, together with the impact of EU financed infrastructure development programmes, have set the perfect decor for steady growth in the use of this form of dispute resolution.

This YAF Conference is aimed at highlighting the advantages of opting for arbitration in Eastern Europe whilst also discussing any possible disadvantages. The event is focused on the initial stage of arbitration proceedings under ICC Rules, namely the Case management conference and Procedural Order no. 1.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
