ICC YAF: Atlanta’s Global Companies and International Law-A Roundtable

Atlanta, Georgia, • English

The ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF) is co-organizing with Young Practitioners Group for ATLAS (Atlanta International Arbitration Society), an event, kindly hosted by King & Spalding LLP, entitled “Atlanta’s Global Companies and International Law: A Roundtable” to be held on 2 June in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Atlanta office of King & Spalding is hosting a cocktail reception and speakers’ panel focused on international law issues faced by Atlanta’s global companies. The event, co-organized by the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) and the Young Practitioners Group for ATLAS (Atlanta International Arbitration Society), is designed to highlight how many attorneys around our city handle international law and trans-border issues on a day-to-day basis. Jorge Fernandez, the Global Commerce Manager for the Metro Atlanta Chamber, will serve to introduce the panel and highlight the growth in Atlanta’s international business community. We will then hear from several inhouse counsel from Atlanta’s top companies on the interesting, and unexpected, ways that international law and foreign law affect their work.
