Save the date for ICC’s annual West Coast programme in San Francisco to discuss recent developments in international arbitration.

Description

This programme presented by the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce will address hot topics and recent developments in international arbitration of interest to practitioners on the West Coast. The programme will be generously hosted by DLA Piper LLP.

The current limitations placed upon out-of-state and foreign attorneys to represent parties in international arbitrations in California are at odds with pro-arbitration laws and practices attracting international arbitration to other leading jurisdictions.  Senate Bill 766 may be a game changer.  Speakers will give a background on the Bill and its potential effects on California’s international arbitration landscape.
