ICC Peruvian Arbitration Day

The ICC International Court of Arbitration and ICC Peru are organizing their first ICC Peruvian Arbitration Day on 11 September 2017, to discuss various subjects in regard to the Arbitration Law in Peru, the role of arbitration institutions and much more. This conference will be followed by an ICC YAF Conference on the morning of 12 September.


ICC PERUVIAN ARBITRATION DAY is an event that will be organized annually by the ICC International Court of Arbitration and ICC Peru. Being this the first edition, current topics related to the provisions contained in the Peruvian Arbitration Law, as well as the role of arbitral institutions in regard to the conduct of parties and of the arbitrators, the practice of evidence in international arbitration, annulment and revision of arbitral awards, among others. Ana Serra e Moura, Deputy Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, will explain the modifications to the ICC Arbitration Rules and the new practices of the Court and its Secretariat, implemented since December 2016, with the focus on improving the arbitral processes administered by the ICC.

ICC YAF will be organizing a conference in the morning of 12 September 2017.

Additionally, in the afternoon of 12 September 2017, the Tribunal Arbitral du Sport (TAS) will be holding a Seminar on Sport Arbitration, which will focus on the resolution of disputes in the sports world, being of commercial nature (contracts, player transfers, and sponsorship) or of disciplinary nature (doping).

Practicing lawyers, corporate counsel, in-house counsel, arbitrators and other dispute resolution services practitioners, academics and professionals involved and/or interested in obtaining further knowledge and keep up to date with domestic and international arbitration in Latin America.
