ICC-G7 Roundtable discussion on trade and climate change

This roundtable will consider how trade and climate policy can be better aligned to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.


This roundtable will bring together high-level business leaders, policy makers, academic experts, economists and thought leaders to discuss:

  • the nexus between international trade and climate change;
  • how the trade and climate change policy regimes can be effectively aligned and integrated to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement and advance international trade; and
  • key findings from the recently published Economist Intelligence Unit report entitled, Climate change and trade agreements: Friends or foes?.
