ICC: Arbitration Training and Conference

The ICC International Court of Arbitration and ICC Australia are co-organizing a conference with the support of CIArb. The conference is generously sponsored by Melbourne Commercial Arbitration & Mediation Centre and Arbitration Chambers Hong Kong. It will take place in Melbourne, on 28 November 2016.


This conference consists of two panel discussions.

The first panel will address recent developments adopted by the ICC to improve the effective management of ICC arbitration. The panel will also provide an update on recent guidelines published by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

The second panel will focus on the appointment process for ICC arbitrations, providing insight from members of ICC Australia’s Nomination Committee, as well as tips for being appointed as an international arbitrator based in Australia.

Who should attend?

All in-house counsels, legal practitioners, arbitrators and academics interested in the field of dispute resolution. The conference is also open to business people who wish to learn more about arbitration as an option for Arbitration & ADR in Australia.
