ICC: Arbitration Conference

The ICC International Court of Arbitration is organizing a conference on Arbitration. The conference is generously sponsored by CIArb Australia and Clifford Chance and will take place in Sydney on 23 November.

Description

A half day conference consisting of two panel discussions essential for users of ICC arbitration.

The first panel will address recent developments adopted by the ICC to improve the effective management of ICC arbitration. The panel will also provide an update on the recent activities of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

The second panel will focus on the appointment process for ICC arbitrations providing insight from members of Australia’s Nomination Committee as well as tips for being appointed as an international arbitrator based in Australia.

Who should attend

All in-house counsels, legal practitioners, arbitrators and academics interested in the field of dispute resolution. The conference is also open to business people who wish to learn more about arbitration as an option for Arbitration & ADR in Australia.
