Project Manager – ICC World Chambers Federation

We are currently looking for a Project Manager who is going to act as permanent liaison between the ICC Secretary General and the Chair of the ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF), and work closely with Director of WCF and his team for all matters relating to the WCF Strategy and Plan of Action as well as relations with Chambers from the WCF community and international organisations of relevance to the WCF agenda.

Within ICC, the World Chambers Federation (WCF) is the body which convenes chambers of commerce and industry from more than 120 countries. This unique global platform works to help chambers share and adopt best practices to the benefit of their members and wider communities. It is also supports and facilitate the active contribution of chambers across ICC activities.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager who is going to act as permanent liaison between the ICC Secretary General and the Chair of the ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF), and work closely with Director of WCF and his team for all matters relating to the WCF Strategy and Plan of Action as well as relations with Chambers from the WCF community and international organisations of relevance to the WCF agenda.

Responsibilities 

  • In close coordination with the ICC Secretary General Office, the Director of WCF, and the Membership team at ICC Headquarters, provide day-to-day support to the Chair of WCF and his team to facilitate their relations with Chambers from the WCF community, organise and deliver high-level reports to the ICC Governing Bodies, and drive the effective implementation of WCF priorities and actions across the WCF network
  • Work to ensure the smooth integration of WCF/Chambers into all ICC activities and help strengthen the relations with ICC National Committees
  • Support the coordination and content generation of WCF task forces in close cooperation with Chambers from the WCF community
  • Supervise and support the organisation of all WCF meetings, including the WCF General Council, WCF
  • Executive Committee, and WCF global and regional events to be organised in different parts of the world
  • Lead and support the implementation of the new WCF communications strategy as jointly approved by the WCF Chair and ICC Secretary General
  • Work with the WCF Chair and ICC Headquarters to define and implement a WCF outreach strategy to articulate the WCF value proposition and increase the number and geographical of chambers actively engaged in WCF activities.
  • Assist with the strengthening of WCF relations with all departments of ICC, including Global Policy, Global Partnerships and Development, ICC Dispute Resolution Services as well as services lines (Legal, Finance, Communications, Information Technology etc).
  • Support the ICC Secretary General office in stakeholder leadership activities and all activities involving Chambers from the WCF community.

 

Requirements 

  • Outstanding organisational, diplomatic and communications skills, coupled with a solid understanding of policy issues and the role of Chambers to support SME ecosystems
  • At least 5 years of experience in a business membership organization or a similar context
  • Ability to manage priorities, work under pressure and respect deadlines
  • Results-oriented and strong service culture
  • Capacity to embrace fast paced environment and changing priorities to adapt to the needs of a complex stakeholder set
  • Ability to support different workstreams and work transversally
  • Attention to details and sensitivity to diverse cultural and business contexts
  • Capacity to work within different time zones
  • Fluency in English, good level of Spanish

 

Terms and conditions 
Location: The position is based in Paris, France
Starting date: As soon as possible
Contract type:  Full-Time, 18-month contract
