Global Communications – Human Resources Department: Internal Communications Officer

The Internal Communications Officer is responsible for creating content and materials that drive employee engagement and influence behaviours. The position helps ensure that consistent, timely and seamless messages reaches our employees and our network, and there is a particular focus on driving change and building trust and transparency. The role will work closely with both Global Communications and Human Resources teams.

About the role

The Internal Communications Officer is responsible for creating content and materials that drive employee engagement and influence behaviours. The position helps ensure that consistent, timely and seamless messages reaches our employees and our network, and there is a particular focus on driving change and building trust and transparency. The role will work closely with both Global Communications and Human Resources teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ICC staff has access to an engaging range of internal communication content, to stay informed of the latest ICC news and activities, share information and raise awareness of and increase implication in internal projects, challenges and campaigns.
  • Draft internal HR guides relating to onboarding, professional development, grading and remuneration policies.
  • Coordinate the compilation and distribution of internal news, writing and editing content for the intranet – proofing, editing and posting articles and news.
  • Present pioneering ideas to convey internal news, topics for the Secretary General, Human Resources and Global Communications departments.
  • Work with colleagues across the organisation to contribute to specific projects related to employee experience.
  • Advise and guide staff and management on internal communications topics.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written, editing and verbal communication skills in English (native level) and in French.
  • Good understanding of HR main areas and new trends.
  • Skilled in crafting engaging and concise content and storyboards based on content consumption trends
  • Good listener
  • Experience using intranet back office and analytics
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised and methodological in approach with good project management skills
  • Results driven
  • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively within a team
  • Able to work to deadlines

Start date ASAP

Location: Paris

Remuneration: to be negotiated
