Head of Marketing and Promotion (CDI) with the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration

The Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration is currently recruiting a Head of Marketing and Promotion to develop, implement, and evaluate a marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, media, and public relations to support the marketing objectives and maximize the positive exposure in local, regional, national, and global markets for ICC Dispute Resolution Services (“ICC DRS”).

The Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration is currently recruiting a Head of Marketing and Promotion to develop, implement, and evaluate a marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, media, and public relations to support the marketing objectives and maximize the positive exposure in local, regional, national, and global markets for ICC Dispute Resolution Services (“ICC DRS”).

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Office of the Secretary General to establish positioning and identify target audiences and business development opportunities in existing and potential new markets and sectors
  • Manage a team that will include the ICC DRS Regional Directors, existing promotion team and other stakeholders involved in promotion activities
  • Coordinate business development and promotional activity towards ICC DRS stakeholders (ICC National Committees, in-house counsel, practitioners, arbitrators, state representatives, etc.)
  • Undertake research, evaluation, assessment and analysis of trends and developments in dispute resolution services
  • Contribute to ICC DRS ‘thought leadership’ and the promotion of its services
  • Manage production and dissemination of ICC DRS marketing material (e.g., press releases, newsletters, flyers, presentation slides, statistical reports, and other ICC DRS publications)
  • Manage corporate communications with the press and media and respond to enquiries from users
  • Manage ICC DRS social media
  • Collaborate with ICC’s Communications department to design, test and evolve transversal activity
  • Maintain partnerships to update marketing messaging and incentives for maximizing ROI
  • Follow campaigns, develop performance analysis reports and KPIs for future promotions
  • Manage budget responsibilities for marketing and promotions at ICC DRS
  • Lead, coach and monitor individual team member’s performance
  • Coordinate the team’s general workload and workflow to ensure external / internal customer satisfaction and optimum team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • University degree and at least seven-year marketing experience; experience in the legal field and familiarity with international arbitration and ADR will be considered as an advantage
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills with ability to a team (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision making) necessary for effective management
  • Knowledge of project management principles and demonstrated ability to develop, implement and manage large, long-term projects
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; and the ability to facilitate discussion and consensus-based decision making
  • Perfect fluency in English; any other language(s) will be considered as an advantage.

The Head of Marketing and Promotion reports to the Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration

Location: The position is based in Paris, France.
Compensation: Competitive, contingent on skills and experience.
