Global Communications Assistant (CDI)

ICC is seeking a motivated Global Communications Assistant to help raise the visibility of ICC’s impact to external audiences worldwide by supporting the execution of ICC communications strategies and campaigns and helping to measure our reach.

As the institutional representative of over 45 million businesses in more than 100 countries, the International Chamber of Commerce operates with a core mission to “make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere”.

We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations – from the World Trade Organisation to the UN climate process – championing the needs of local business in global decision making.

The role

ICC is seeking a motivated Global Communications Assistant to help raise the visibility of ICC’s impact to external audiences worldwide by supporting the execution of ICC communications strategies and campaigns and helping to measure our reach.

Key tasks

  • Preparing, optimising and posting content across channels
  • Assisting the implementation of social media and digital marketing campaigns
  • Assisting in the development of marketing and PR collateral
  • Coordinating incoming requests for communications support with relevant teams
  • Measuring campaign impact and exposure
  • Maintaining communications calendars
  • Researching and maintaining media contacts
  • Supporting brand awareness and compliance
  • Organising audio/video recordings and content production
  • Preparing newsletter content and assisting email preparation for digital marketing campaigns – including the sourcing of images
  • Monitoring and reporting media and social media analytics

The ideal candidate will

  • Be educated to degree-level education with 1-2 years work experience in a communications or marketing role
  • Be fluent in English with an ability to communicate in French. Other languages a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Enjoy working on several projects concurrently
  • Be tech savvy with a digital first mindset
  • Be creative. Video production/editing, Adobe Creative Suite and Photography skills a plus
  • Be results oriented

Department: Global Communications, the position will be based in Paris, France.

Contract: Permanent contract
