World Chambers Federation internship

The ICC World Chambers Federation is seeking an intern for their final-year internship and with a convention de stage (for all non-EU residents, valid papers: long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) to assist our closely knit team, starting on 31 March 2017 for a period of 6 months.

The ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF) represents the interests of local, regional, national, bilateral and transnational chambers of commerce and industry, with members in over 130 countries. Through its extensive global support network, ICC WCF enables chambers from all over the world to exchange experiences and improve their performance in areas such as finance, management and the development and promotion of services.

This is an event coordinator internship position with the ICC WCF Project Manager and Project Coordinator, in the ICC World Chambers Federation department, at ICC’s Global Headquarters in Paris, France.

Main tasks:

  • Participate in the 10th World Chambers Congress final administrative and logistical aspects
  • Support Project Manager and Project Coordinator with diverse tasks regarding the Congress programme and promotion
  • Help with other punctual ICC WCF tasks

The ideal candidate will be a fluent English speaker with solid writing skills. While English is the working language, French, as well as other languages, are highly recommended. He or she should be very pro-active, well organised and meticulous in carrying out the required duties in high-pressure environments, in addition to having excellent computer and communications skills. He or she should be a team player who is highly interested in gaining experience in an international environment with a dynamic team. Prior involvement in organising and coordinating events is required. Previous experience in marketing and PR is a plus.
