Project and Event Management Internship

The ICC World Chambers Federation is seeking an intern with a convention de stage (for all non-EU residents, valid papers: long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) to participate in our closely knit team, starting from 1 July to 31 December 2021 (full time).

Place: Hybrid internship. On-site: Paris, France and virtually via a tablet computer lent by ICC

The ICC World Chambers Federation is seeking an intern to participate in our closely knit team, to notably participate in the final preparations of the ICC WCF 12th World Chambers Congress.

☐ For all non-EU residents: valid papers (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour)
☐ You are available full-time
☐ You are available for 6 months

Starting date: 21 or 28 June 2021
End date: 21 or 28 December 2021

 

2. Main responsibilities Duties and tasks
12th World Chambers Congress organisation • Promotional activities (marketing and communication)
• World Chambers Competition coordination
• Programme and speakers research and invitations
• Administrative and logistic support, notably with speakers and ICC
staff
Contact data management • Administrative support with the CRM and coordination with CRM
team
Help with strategic partnerships activities • Support in the development of the partnerships (especially
partnerships with transnational chambers from all regions of the
world)
Other chambers-related (or other) activities/projects • Activities linked to the World Chambers Federation, the chambers
in general, and/or the Chambers Connect community platform
• Note that the intern can be asked, depending on the department’s
needs, to support cross-cutting projects within the WCF
department.

3. Profile:
The ideal candidate:
☐ is a fluent English speaker with solid/excellent writing skills (English is the working language, but French as well as other languages are highly recommended),
☐ has strong organisational skills with experience in multi-tasking, and is meticulous in carrying out
the required duties.
☐ has excellent computer skills.

The intern’s experience will include both administrative and substantive tasks. He/she should be open-minded, a team player who is highly interested in gaining experience in an international environment with a dynamic team. Both our customers and colleagues come from a wide range of different countries, from all around the world.
