Peace and Prosperity, Knowledge Solutions Department: Internship
ICC is seeking a full-time intern/stagiaire with a Convention de Stage to join the Knowledge Solutions Department in its Paris headquarters as of mid-January 2020 for a period of 4-6 months.
***Please note that all candidates must be enrolled in an academic institution and must provide a “convention de stage”***
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is seeking a full-time intern/stagiaire with a Convention de Stage (and for all non-EU residents, valid papers, i.e. long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour, as well as health & corporate responsibility insurance coverage) to join the Knowledge Solutions Department in its Paris headquarters as of mid-January 2020 for a period of 4-6 months.
The intern will assist in the development, preparation, implementation and communication of projects/activities of the Knowledge Hub Peace & Prosperity that is supporting the campaign on stopping the rise in global inequality through, for example, projects focusing on migration, the effects of globalisation or the future of corporations. The intern may also be asked to contribute to ICC’s work on biodiversity, especially in relation to genetic resources.
The intern will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the activities of the Hub by performing the following tasks:
- Support policy advocacy
- Draft minutes and substantive meeting summaries
- Support event planning, logistics and communications
- Assistance with ad hoc projects
- Assist team in their day-to-day administrative and substantive work
The ideal candidate should be studying for a post-graduate degree (at least Master’s or equivalent). He/she will be a fluent/native English speaker with solid English writing and competent organizational skills, who is pro-active, meticulous and motivated in carrying out their required duties, and has an interest in international affairs. The intern’s responsibilities will include both administrative and substantive tasks. He/she should be a team player who is highly interested in gaining experience in an international environment.
