Marketing & communications internship

The ICC World Chambers Federation is seeking a marketing & communications intern for our closely-knit chamber relations team, to notably help in the preparations of the ICC WCF 13th World Chambers Congress, and support the ICC WCF Head of Chamber Relations.

Location: ICC headquarters, Paris, France

Your university will provide you with/sign a convention de stage 

For all non-EU residents: valid papers (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) 

You are available full-time 

You are available for 6 months (starting date: Monday 16 January end date:  Thursday 13 July 2022) 


2. Main responsibilities  Duties and tasks 
Promotional activities (marketing & communications)  Including but not limited to the 13th World Chambers Congress (13WCC, 21-23 June 2023 in Geneva):  

  • Promotional activities (marketing & communication): draft of newsletter articles, social media posts, website updates, creative inputs on marketing strategy, video content creation and more  
  • Data management: Data import/cleaning, coordination with CRM team, production of mailings 
  • Activities linked to the Chambers Connect community platform 
Administrative & logistic support 


  • Tasks linked to the preparation of the Congress, including but not limited to: ICC staff coordination in the framework of the 13WCC and miscellaneous administrative and logistic support. 
  • Activities linked to the ICC World Chambers Federation (ICC WCF) and to chambers-related projects in general. 
Help with strategic partnerships activities  
  • Executive support to the Head of Chamber relations 
  • Support with the coordination and development of chamber-related and partner activities and relations (including but not limited to transnational chambers, international organisations and more, from all regions of the world) 
  • Depending on the department’s needs: support cross-cutting projects within ICC WCF 
  1. Profile: The ideal candidate:

is a fluent English speaker with excellent writing skills (English is the working language)

is a good French speaker with writing, listening, and speaking skills (the Congress co-organiser is in Geneva) 

has strong organisational skills with experience in multi-tasking and is meticulous in carrying out the required duties 

has excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PPT) 

has marketing and communications skills 

Any other skills that could add value to the Project and the team are more than welcome. 

The intern’s experience will include both administrative and substantive tasks. He/she should be open-minded and a team player who is highly interested in gaining experience in an international working environment with a dynamic team as our customers and colleagues come from a wide range of different countries across the world.

  1. Terms and conditions

Interns are also required to handle their own travel/accommodation arrangements for the duration of their stay.  ICC is not in a position to provide scholarships/fellowships.     

The Internship is a full-time program.  The average working week is of 35 hours. 

Interns will receive a monthly gratification of approximatively630 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation for public transportation costs.

The next Congress or the 13th World Chambers Congress (13WCC) will be held in Geneva, from 21-23 June 2023.The last Congress (12WCC) took place in Dubai on 23-25 November 2021.
