Internship Opportunity, Business Analyst / the Secretariat General of ICC in Paris

The Secretariat General of ICC is currently recruiting an Business Analyst Intern to assist with transformation projects (6 months internship) in Paris.

The Secretariat General of ICC is currently recruiting an Business Analyst Intern to assist with transformation projects (6 months internship) in Paris.


The role involves, business and administrative tasks including:

  • Conducting research according to the user and business needs, demands for product/service and the size of potential opportunities
  • Analysing competitors’ offerings and strengths and weaknesses
  • Analysing risks, dependencies, complexity and resourcing requirements of potential opportunities
  • Building good business cases – to enable the leadership team determine if an idea/opportunity is desirable, viable, achievable
  • Coordinating workstreams between different projects and teams especially with the PMO
  • Preparing high quality PowerPoint presentations
  • Providing support to the Head of Transformation and team involved in transformation taskforces, contributing to identify and execute process improvements – including automation, consolidation, re-engineering
  • Any other activity as might be needed within the transformation projects


  • Master Degree
  • Perfect fluency in oral and written English. Very good command of French
  • Organisation and reactivity
  • Ability to communicate with high level stakeholders and join venture partners
  • Strong presentation skills – straightforward and analytical approach
  • Financial analysis – ability to calculate NPV, IRR, Payback Period etc.
  • Computer literate and willingness to work in a digital environment
  • Research and analysis: analysing and integrating data from varied sources to deliver concise and insightful reports
  • Advanced Excel User

Important information:

The candidate needs to still be registered as a student during the time of the internship. Recent graduates who are not anymore enrolled in an educational program are therefore not eligible to do an internship at ICC.

Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland should get an appropriate visa from the French consulate. Interns are also required to handle their own travel/accommodation arrangements for the duration of their stay. The ICC is not in a position to provide scholarships/fellowships.

The 6-month internship programmes are full-time and the average working week is 35 hours.

The intern will receive a monthly gratification of about EUR 630 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
