Internship Global Marketing and Communications Department
Global Marketing and Communications Department is looking for Global Communications intern for a 6-month period.
As the institutional representative of over 45 million businesses in more than 170 countries, the International Chamber of Commerce operates with a core mission to “make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere”.
We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations – from the World Trade Organisation to the UN climate process – championing the needs of local business in global decision making.
The convening power of our global network enables us to set rules and standards that facilitate over $10 trillion dollars in trade each year – as well as providing tailored products and digital services that directly address the real challenges faced by businesses operating internationally.
We are currently seeking a Global Communications intern for a 6-month period, providing an opportunity to develop skills in writing, media relations, photography and 4k video production. The intern will work directly with a broad range of international communications experts in design, PR, social media, web development and more.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
- Support coordination of social media content development (video production, recordings, photography, etc.)
- Assist in the implementation of media campaigns
- Conduct research to support global communications initiatives
- Provide back-office support in a range of areas (weekly newsletter, web content)
Requirements
- Fluency in English with an ability to communicate in French. Other languages a plus
- Media savvy; knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and photography skills a plus
- Good understanding of social media platforms
- Preference will be given to students studying an area related to communications or looking to develop a career in that field
- Team spirit and generous attitude
Terms and conditions
Candidates must be registered as students during the entire internship. Recent graduates, who are no longer enrolled in an educational programme, are therefore not eligible for an internship at ICC.
Interns who are nationals of countries outside the European Union (including Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco and Switzerland) are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa from the French consulate.
Interns are also required to handle their own travel/accommodation arrangements for the duration of their stay. ICC is not in a position to provide scholarships/fellowships.
The Internship is a full-time programme. The average working week is of 35 hours. Interns will receive a monthly gratification of approximatively €630 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation for public transportation costs.
