Are you a resourceful digital marketer with a gift for clarity and an eye for design? Join the Digital Standards Initiative team at ICC Asia in Singapore and take the opportunity to participate in the promotion of policy coherence and harmonized standards to take global trade from analog to digital.

Under the supervision of the Director – Digital Ecosystems, ICC Digital Standards Initiative, the intern will assist to plan and deliver strategic contents to boost community engagement, drive greater adoption of existing standards and create new partnership opportunities.

The diverse audiences that we seek to engage and inspire include corporates, industry associations, technology solution providers, governments and inter-government organizations.

 

Tasks include: 

• Performing market research and industry analysis in connection with strategic priorities and specific events related to digital trade; collect and synthesize ideas to produce original content.

• Assisting with the drafting/customization of articles, communications, newsletters, presentations and other promotional material for meetings, events and publications to maximize impact for respective audiences.

• Assisting with digital marketing strategy and content creation according to weekly and monthly editorial calendars (copy writing, blogs, social media posts, create and edit short-form videos, infographics, posters and marketing collaterals)

• Assisting with the planning and coordination of conferences and events, meetings, training sessions

• Track audience engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

• Assist in maintaining customer relationship management systems (CRM) and databases of the DSI team

 

Qualifications: 
 
• Fresh local graduates from digital communications or related field such as advertising or Journalism (Singaporean / PR) with proven aptitude for digital marketing and content strategy.

• Enjoys brainstorming and developing ideas through to completion. Ability to work independently and resourcefully in a fast-paced setting with strong project and time-management skills. Ability to transform complex industry jargon into clear, compelling and relatable messages; create simple graphics and short marketing videos with an eye for shareable content.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Sample writing/content creation will be welcomed.

• Prior experience in event organization or marketing/communications is preferred.

• Familiar with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)

Duration:  6 months’ internship (Full Time, Monday to Friday, hybrid setting)

Stipend:  SGD1,500 per month
