ICC makes recommendations for ICANN’s transition
ICC’s Commission on E-Business, IT and Telecoms and its Task Force on Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure and Services have submitted global business views on the transition of the Internet domain name and addressing organization from the current United States government oversight to a private sector multi-stakeholder model of leadership. |

ICC celebrates data protection day
To make citizens more aware of their data protection rights, the Council of Europe and the European Commission are launching “Data Protection Day” on 28 January. The kickoff will include a series of events throughout Europe and North America. |
