Background
The United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) sessions are the follow-up to the 1992 Earth Summit held in Rio de Janeiro. The CSD has completed 14 sessions to date. CSD 14 was held in May 2006, in New York. The Business and Industry input for the Intergovernmental Preparatory Meeting (IPM) will take place from February 26th to March 2nd, 2007. CSD-15 will be held again in New York, from April 30th to May 11th, 2007. The business and industry interventions were as follows:
